I once read that the music you listen to when you’re young is what you’ll listen to for the rest of your life. Music is a really exciting art form because the main experimenters are young people, who tend to reflect the experience of their peers. Recently the music I’ve been listening to has revolved around youth, making it pretty easy to pick out a theme for this playlist. Tracks are from a wide range of artists and genres. I included mellower sounds, because youth doesn’t always mean revolt, sometimes it means calm introspection. I also threw in some absolute jams to inspire your dreams, as well as some emo-punk stuff to flesh out that angst that goes hand in hand with growing up.
