GRRRL Power
By Sophie Mitchell
This past Saturday, one day after Trump’s inauguration, more than one million people took part in globally organised factions of the Women’s March. Over one million people took to the streets in Trump’s new America to march both for women’s protection under the new administration and for a united power needed to achieve it. They marched for the rights of the 21st century woman, for the rights of the women who came before her, and for the rights of the women who are to follow. They marched for peace, but they marched for power, and good God did they march as a power. This is a playlist for the GRRRLS; those who march today, who have marched before, and who will march again. Here’s to staying strong, staying kind, and to never forgetting that the pussy grabs back.
